What is a C-Curve MCB?
C-curve MCBs trip at 5–10x the rated current. They are the most common type for general-purpose circuits — suitable for resistive loads (lighting, heaters) and small motors with moderate inrush currents.
B-Curve (3–5x In)
Sensitive — for long cable runs, resistive loads with low inrush. Available in MA-series.
C-Curve (5–10x In)
General purpose — lighting, socket outlets, small motors. Available in all series.
D-Curve (10–20x In)
High inrush — transformers, large motors, welding equipment. Available in MA-series.
